The History of Us......
Phi Iota Chi was proposed as a social sorority on March 19th, 1974. We were approved as a permanent sorority on November 5th, 1974. We are now officially recognized as a non-profit organization as of July 25th 2021.
The fifteen founding sisters, all of which were freshman, had many goals in mind. Phi Iota Chi began and continues to run as a sorority that strives for meaningful and lasting friendships with each sister.
The sorority house has been only a few other locations since we were founded but has been the longest at our current location, 119-121 North Street ("Pixie Hill").
